The other half of the project managers are outside hires who simply have a degree in 'project management,' and therefore, have NO idea what is required of content managers 'on the ground.' In these cases, PMs fail to push back against unrealistic client demands, especially timelines, and routinely overpromise to clients without checking feasibility with their CDs.
