There are a lot of great engineers and people to work with. Extremely fast-paced environment. Decent salary compared to similar positions in the market.

Minpunten

The salary doesn't look so good when you look at the lack of benefits including no 401k matching and other missing perks. Absolutely no work life balance. Expected 60+ hour weeks. Software development standards and practices are an afterthought.

Fantastic work culture, great work life balance. People are genuinely excited about what they are working on and the projects are cutting edge. Unlimited tokens (for now at least). Flexible hybrid policy, and easy to take PTO. Leadership is very forward thinking, for a large company there's a lot of sense that employees matter. No layoffs in almost 20 years. Food is pretty good and subsidized. Great benefits, and competitive compensation especially for hardware roles.

Minpunten

Only minor gripes - currently no gym, and the parking is very limited at HQ. This is being addressed, but won't be completed until 2028. Company has been growing faster than the offices, so there aren't enough desks for everyone. Slightly inconvenient when you can't get a temp desk where you need, but most of the time it's no problem.
