While I respect your point of view, I don’t share the same thinking. Our people are very passionate and engaged. I can feel this energy in the company from our people. Yes, there may be some people who may not be; however, I see this as a very small percentage.
At Nespresso USA, innovation is one of our core values and important to our success. An example of this is the launch of DELIGHT. Its purpose is to collect innovative ideas from our Coffee Specialists in Boutiques and the CRC, and put them into practice to better serve our customers and employees. At corporate level, employees can freely bring ideas to the table to be discussed with their managers and me.
Our company’s practice is to conduct annual performance evaluations, and from these results, provide salary increases, pay bonuses, and do any promotions on a scheduled yearly basis. Many companies in the US including Nestlé follow this approach. In addition, our Omni-Channel teams also have quarterly bonus payouts to be align with our business results. In my view, we have a strong rewards practice.
