Pluspunten

If you are lucky enough to be in the inner circle to get warm sales leads, they offer trips based on performance

Minpunten

This is the most hypocritical company that I ever worked for. They are a "Christian" company who sell over-priced whole life insurance to senior citizens. Every morning they pray to Jesus, and if you don't "fit in" they will not do what Jesus would do. They hire new employees every week, and they feed warm leads to a select few in the office. If you are not selling they will call you out in front of the entire staff, no personal coaching, or employee development at all. Many of there employees resort to begging for sales on Facebook, and experiencing anxiety because of the stressful environment. All the while they try to claim it's the best job in the world, it's almost like a cult. Workers beware of One Life America!!

Pluspunten

One Life America is an Independent Marketing Organization (IMO). They are essentially the middle-man between you and the Life Insurance Carriers whose products you will be selling. The Insurance Carrier will provide the contract/product to the IMO --> The IMO will recruit/hire you to sell that insurance carrier's product --> You sell the insurance and get commission from it. Learning how life insurance works is relatively easy. Its mostly self study, but if you put in the effort (2-4 hours/day depending on your previous knowledge), you will get the material. Getting the license is the easiest part of the job. The hardest part of the job is actually going door-to-door and selling insurance products to the prospect as they aren't expecting you. L.I. Sales is also a saturated market. When you sell a policy, you will have a 9-month grace/chargeback period. You'll get your commission when you sell the policy; however, if the prospect cancels their policy within 9 months, you must pay back all of the money you were paid so if you sell someone a policy, MAKE SURE YOU GIVE THEM THE BEST RATE POSSIBLE!!!

Minpunten

Commission Based; In my experience, I paid for my own leads as well
