Nothing after the merger with Amazon
Minpunten
Most of the “Physicians” you’ll encounter here are not even MD’s and some of the DO’s are doing their residency here unsupervised. How do you expect NP to carry on the heavy responsibilities without proper supervision? Doctors are overwhelmed as well because they do all of the charts and are limited to 20 minutes per patient down from 30. On top of that doctors are overwhelmed with “tasks” that could easily be taken care of by the nursing team that lives on Slack but OM won’t solve this issue and just overburden their doctors and take their work back home. Trent Green is to blame for these changes and their echo chamber back in SF. They are out of touch with reality in what’s really going on at the ground level of the clinics. It’s dangerous and unethical, and on top of that OM was blowing money and tried to clean up their mess by firing essential staff and making their expenses look lower for Amazon in order to be acquired. Apparently it worked and fooled Amazon at the cost of hundreds former employees nationwide. Even the past CEO jumped ship and cashed his chips once Amazon closed the deal. Company culture is terrible and reeks of gossip at every level of the company. Instead of resolving issues among each other, employees will coerce and make up lies to get someone they don’t like hated by everyone else in the company at a district level or even worse, get them fired. Slack has enabled this as well as I’ve witnessed two employees (MSS’s) plot a scenario to accuse a male coworker of SA because one of the MSS’s wanted their LSS position and because “he didn’t belong here” and he’s “a cis male”. I’ve seen laboratory staff get employed with no previous experience whatsoever over people with lab experience just because they’re trying to save a buck or two from paying them what they’re valued in the market. Because of this there were two instances of brand new phlebotomist being hired and trained for 1 WEEK getting accidentally sticked within a month of getting the job. Employees will look up other employees charts as well so don’t expect any privacy if you plan on getting on board with their poor medical services. This company will try to justify DEI for theatrical purposes but at their core they will hire white women and put those women in positions of power even if they don’t have the experience or expertise to do the job. Nepotism runs wild here. People of color and male staff are at a disadvantage over decisions and promotions unless you really suck up to higher management.
