Close to public transport and food options. Remote work was allowed (but I feel that could have been a reason for my demise).I'm giving 2 stars for work life balance only because I fought hard for it through negotiations and I was getting my job done.Again my wanting a work / life balance could have contributed to my demise.....

Normally I wouldn't say things about a company but this is really to save the next fool who might not be sure about accepting an offer and has stumbled on this page. The reviews are real. Here's my story: Job was advertised on seek for a polyglot software developer. They have both .NET and Java applications. I went for the interview, worked out well and were keen to employ me. I on the other hand read the reviews on this page, sent a letter to the recruitment agent declining the job offer. The 1 to 1.5 ratings here and the reviews before mine were good enough to put me off this job. I then got a call from OneVue's management who assured me that there were disgruntled ex employees and the reviews were not a reflection of the reality within the organization and that they were changing the culture. Basically I got assurance that it would be fine working there despite the scathing reviews here... I took the job. Project based work with a definite date for production which happened to be the week of my 3 month probation review. I completed the job on time with no issues. I even checked with my direct manager if they were OK with what I had been doing and seemed fine. At least that's what I thought. The moment I completed the project, I was given the extra one week pay and told to leave because according to them I did not fit the work culture. This happened 3 weeks before Christmas. In the limited time that I have been there, what I have observed is that I think this company has bad management practices and people work with constant reminders that their job is on the line. The staff turnover rate is high and morale within the organization seems low. There you have it folks, my two cents.....Enjoy.
