Working at Onsite - werkgeversreview IT Engineer bij Onsite Computing

I get to work remotely and only meet with clients in person sometimes for projects. Since starting two years ago, Ive been promoted multible times starting from an entry level tech to now managing a team and getting to work on any projects that interest me. The owner likes to promote people within the company which I appreciate. Most everyone is willing to help each other and are easy to work with. My pay has increased significantly and I have also had an increase in benefits. Managment is flexible with me needing to take time off for family vactions, kids school events, and personal stuff.

I wish there was more of a diverse team as it is mostly guys. But this seems to be my experience a lot in IT. Also, there is a senior staff peron that does not like to share how to do certain work. This can be really annoying.

Onsite cares about all of it's employees. The work is hard sometimes, but the comradery among the team makes it worth it. For the most part, the clients are nice to work with as well. It felt good to know that my contribution was appreciated. I would have stayed if I wasn't relocating to another state.

IT work can be stressful sometimes.
