Pluspunten
The positive is the fact that I met some really cool people in training and my fellow office recruiter is bomb.com.
Minpunten
Everything, seriously. The CEO needs to be on medication. Someone needs to read the new DSM criteria and diagnose him with something. The company as a whole is horrendous. The base pay sucks depending on your market and the "unlimited" commission they promise you is a joke. Everything is tiered, meaning Outsource profits way more than you ever will off of your placements. You're expected to be "on call" all hours of the day and night. Heaven forbid if you attempt to get a few hours of sleep and don't answer a call at 6:45 in the morning. Turn and burn should be the new motto of Outsource. They claim to spend so much money to send employees to training and to pay their salaries, yet they would rather fire you if you aren't performing to their standards or meeting their metrics instead of investing in you and training you. You know there's an issue when an HR employee quits within weeks of being hired. They promote the most undeserving people to higher positions. Seems like being pretty (according to Outsource standards), dumb, and submissive are the standards for being promoted. Oh I forgot to mention the convenience factor. It's a little scary when the company is primarily ran by a bunch of 20 something year olds. That in itself spells disaster. They also expect you to make 250 cold calls a week while fitting in 5+ interviews. I don't know who they expect you to call each and every week, but that metric is a joke. Especially in developing markets and markets that have a lot of staffing competition. Don't bother asking the people that have "come up through the ranks" for help. They are worthless and give you "typical Outsource" answers. Heaven forbid if you need a day off and want to use the PTO that you actually earn after your 90 days. It's like a freaking inquisition just to take time off. I would rather be unemployed than work for that miserable company ever again. I hear the strip clubs are always hiring. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy and I hate her.
