      Met some nice people. Thats about it.

      Minpunten

      No 401k match. No training. Health, dental and vision insurance cost an arm and a leg. They even make you pay for parking. The only company in upstate ny that made me pay for parking. Very poor working conditions. Old building, dirty, drafty, bugs, space heaters all over the place, water leaking from the ceiling etc etc. Honestly felt like working in a dump. Not sure what the owners succession plan is. The owner really has no class whatsoever. Dresses and comes to work like a slob. The owner’s daughter is extremely unprofessional and emotional. Not sure if the owners daughter, amelia weir can take over both the companies in the future. She is very inept, emotional, and naive.

      Pluspunten

      Management is keen on allowing their analysts to further their education and obtain a CFA designation. They hold a high expectation of their analysts. It's a smaller firm, so you work very closely with PMs in making investment decisions. Starting out as a new analyst, this is a good opportunity but perhaps a bad fit for analysts with a lot experience.

      Minpunten

      The investment process can feel less rigorous and more idiosyncratic. The pay can also be a little low, but this is primarily due to the hiring of very young, novice analysts.
