Pluspunten

Everyone here is in their 20s and hadn't experienced other companies, so things like cold catered lunches and meetings where they keep reminding you how lucky you are to work there, make you think you've hit the mother load. It's really awful and a very immature company. Maybe in 15 years they will have it together. And their turnover is horrible because of it.

Minpunten

Insufficient training, TLs who get positions based on friendship, not knowledge, they cover up mistakes, and want to keep employees in their positions by not extending knowledge past "Paycom's way"

Pluspunten

The People Make Paycom - I really enjoy working with everyone I have had the change to work with. As someone that moved to Oklahoma from out of state, my co-workers were welcoming, and I have several current and previous co-workers that I am friends with outside the office. In addition, the clients that I work with LOVE Paycom. It is easy to come to work when you are working with clients that genuinely want your help and enjoy working with you.

Minpunten

There aren't many opportunities to work remotely or from home in a hybrid manner, at least not in my department. My department is also relatively new, so there are a lot of changes fairly often. I'd like to have more consistency there, but I know that will come as our department grows.

Minpunten

Over the past couple of years, career growth has felt extremely limited. Promotions and meaningful raises have become increasingly rare, and many employees believe these decisions are being driven from the very top. Layoffs and terminations have also become common, creating a constant sense of uncertainty. High performers often take on high-visibility projects with aggressive timelines and limited support. The expectations are unrealistic, and even successful delivery doesn’t usually lead to recognition or advancement. Leadership tends to make decisions very late, creating unnecessary urgency and forcing teams into last-minute scrambles. Benefits have declined, opportunities for advancement have become scarce, and overall morale has suffered significantly. There are talented people here and it can be a good place to gain experience, but I would view it primarily as a stepping stone rather than a long-term destination.
