Experienced some common themes for early-stage SaaS companies. e.g. the CEO being too involved in marketing activities to the point that it became a bottleneck. I was unable to accomplish almost any of my ideas as the CEO gave me projects that he "felt would work better"– and when they didn't, more pressure was put on marketing to make it work. Also, the KPI's agreed upon during hiring were pertaining to lead generation and pipeline, yet my final review was judged on revenue closed (a sales metric).

None. The company barely had a 3 month plan, communication poor, the actual objective very white bread.

Very disorganized and disheartening place to work at.
