Pluspunten
I will preface this by saying I am an individual who was impacted by the redundancies and my entire business area was removed despite being a critical function. - Non-senior leadership are amazing and know their jobs well and show real knowledge in their areas and actual care for other employees whether they sit under them or not - (currently) remote working, though there has been talk of this changing and a return to office on the horizon
Minpunten
- Senior management do not listen or have any knowledge of the actual working of the business, stripping down everything despite it being shown to be a large risk and to be a loss of both talent and income in the long term - What was once a positive atmosphere is marred by the lack of care and appreciation for those who were both put at risk and actually made redundant. There is no longer a "people" focus and instead there is the main focus around shareholders and short term earnings - The redundancies made have shifted core responsibilities over to areas that have no clue/training on how to handle or run the processes/systems that were in place pre-redundancy - (Most) of the senior leadership are interim and it shows in the way they communicate with employees and during company meetings, only around to add more to their CV and claim they did a good job while the whole company sinks with core talent leaving in droves while they move on to their next victim
