Horrible working environment, supervisors think they're better than sales associates, and do nothing while everyone else is trying to get job done so they can go home. Supervisors try to pressure you at the end of your shift to stay for longer, and a lot of blame is placed on sales associates, even if they are just doing what they were told to do previously. Under 18s are paid £4.71 despite doing the same if not more work than the other employees (supervisors run younger employees ragged). If you are five minutes late you get 15 minutes deducted despite working up to an hour after your shift without option. Sales associates are often put on the front line with difficult customers, and aren't helped or told how to deal with difficult customers, and in some situations customers can be quite abusive. Work is very hard and tiring and places stress on staff over getting a job done. Formal complaints are not taken seriously, and managers often excuse bad behaviour by supervisors towards associates. Did frequently get pay wrong at end of month, and upon starting put me under wrong tax bracket, so more unnecessary money was deducted from my pay, and had to wait until following start of new economic year to claim the money back.

You get lots of PTO up front as a part timer and can gain flex hours overtime. Get a 50 cent raise every six months.

Was told during onboarding that if a Christian comes into the store spreading the gospel, I have to kick them out. This includes the mention of the Jesus without the church invite. Managers claim its rude and if a customer does it, they get booted. Faced harassment from a customer and management didn't let me switch too a different department. Extremely high turnover rate and managers don't replace them, making your job more stressful during peak hours. Hard to use PTO. Little to no training. Too many bachelor and master holding part timers who get lucked out of moving up in the company. Managers give some people no task while pilling on multiple tasks on one person. Too many managers to deal with (and usually never find) and the full timers make you do the dirty work while they "unpack boxes". Its a pro-LGBT anti christian company. If they want to be pro-LGBT, than more power to them. But anti-Christian is discriminatory and unnecessary.
