High school like atmosphere among upper management. "Click" clubs who control most of the call center's operations who probably should not. Poor planning associated with business needs. Management is afraid to speak up in the presence of upper management or report negative information to their superiors, so they can maintain whatever image it is they are trying to project. Businesses are successfully if factual data is actually used to determine goals, projected work loads and needs. There is no formula going on here. It is by the seat of the pants for the most part.
