Small teams mean there is a huge opportunity for individuals to progress quickly and without management barriers. Its a bit of a blank canvas in the market place meaning that nothing is just given and you have to go out and win your place in the market. Its easy to hide behind a company name as the reason you can work with them, or use that as your sell to who you can deal with but the real truth is its up to, or down to, the consultants.
The career path is based on individual performance, a massive pro for me
Great company trips which supposedly are standard for all companies...still very fun
Closeness of regional offices employees is a big plus although this changes with the coming and going of new staff
Management genuinely care and want everyone to succeed, whatever the method

Business Model is set up that only the top people survive and stay with other good consultants falling away at the mid point due to frustrations about what is expected
No room for Mid-Level performers which could benefit the business to grow in the long run
Lack of key/hot clients means new business is required constantly - difficult for new staff
Caught between competing with the bigger companies for volume business and being a niche specialist.... means we end up falling between the 2 models
