The employees are the only good thing about this company

Ceo is a terrible human and can't run a business to save his life thinks he knows everything there is about being an electrician but fabricates everything and tries to make employees do the same. Doesn't alow enough time for jobs then moans when a job isn't finished on time. He hires people in management with no experience in the trades. General manager is a very rude woman who is a control freak. Doesnt like employees to have a work life balance. Thinks she knows everything but probably can't tie her own shoe laces. Vans are falling apart. Company is falling apart. I will be very surprised if it makes it to next year.

The only redeeming aspect of this company is the staff outside of senior leadership. The office and engineering teams are filled with good people doing their best under difficult circumstances. There’s a sense of togetherness among those who want to improve things, but unfortunately their efforts are routinely shut down from above

This is not an environment where innovation or initiative is welcome. Any attempt to bring forward new strategies, structured plans, or growth-focused ideas is treated as disruption rather than improvement. Leadership is so firmly stuck in outdated thinking that progress is impossible. The CEO operates like feedback and change are threats rather than opportunities. Loyalty, effort, and contribution mean nothing here, I was let go right before Christmas despite having a young family, under the excuse of “not meeting standards,” after pushing hard to make positive change. It felt less like a performance issue and more like punishment for challenging the status quo. Morale suffers because talented people are left fighting walls instead of being empowered to do their jobs properly
