- Questionable corporate (management, leadership and HR team) - They don't like you mixing too much with the corporate team in the operations space, otherwise, you'll realize the smoke and mirrors - Role expectations vastly different from reality - Leadership advancement that far surpasses the knowledge and experience of that employee - Love chasing contracts under the banner of 'niche' or 'specialized', but they are likely subbed in - They sell low turnover and high happiness, but people are ushered out the door silently, or when they make a stand, become a case for "adding rich value" elsewhere, and the happiness is the HR sales pitch partnered with a clique culture - You may not be signing up to what you expected, sometimes not even remotely close.
