Back in 2015 I was working for a small ad agency that afforded me the opportunity to gain a lot of experience in marketing and advertising. My next goal was to take what I'd learned to a bigger market and continue to grow my career. I interviewed all over, but it was a niche branding and advertising agency in Boston that came calling. Admittedly, Boston wasn't even on my radar. I had visited Boston with my family one time when I was a teenager. I knew next to nothing about the area, but when Proverb made me an offer to join their team I flew out and met with Daren and Chris at the office on a weekend, and immediately felt that this was the opportunity I was looking for. I joined Proverb as an Account / Project Manager in October 2015. While there, I had the opportunity to lead several key accounts, and be a big contributor to the growth of the agency. I worked with a lot of amazing, talented people over the years; every one of which impacted my time there in a meaningful way. Daren and Chris especially were big reasons for where I'm at today. I learned how to own my client relationships from them. They not only helped me find my voice as an Account person, but showed me how to bring strategic insights to every interaction and how be proactive with finding solutions to business problems. I was with Proverb for almost 6 years, and even after I left to begin the next journey in my career, Daren and Chris were there for me when I needed it, helping me out with some insurance issues I was having. I will forever be grateful for my time at Proverb. Thank you, Daren and Chris.

Agency life can be pretty hectic, so work-life balance was an issue early on, but the agency has improved on this quite a bit.
