The basic employees are mostly all great people, very open to teaching and helping each other. Treated well if you have the right supervisors or managers.

Minpunten

I write this as unbiased as possible and for the benefit of any seeking employment at this company. They hire people with potential and who are seeking careers, then they beat them into submission or until they leave. If you work in ACS all that awaits is toxic environment where you will actively be harassed, belittled, and told you are not doing enough regardless of how hard you work and how quiet you keep. Those that voice their opinions are frequently told "this job may not be right for you" by management. The most bewildering part is management does not realize how they treat people and will blame the employees or other companies for their own incompetence. This environment creates a high turnover, which they claim is normal in every company. They reward negative, aggressive, and irrational management of employees, while punishing any that think subordinates should be treated with respect or kindness. Pay is poor for the vast amount of work that is expected especially when 1-5 people all leave your group at once.

Great people, meaningful mission, interesting work, opportunity to gain technical skills.

Minpunten

Highly repetitive work, less involvement in the science (you never know the what the client test article is, you spend 95% of your time in the vivarium and are less involved with data analysis, report writing, and other aspects of science)

Minpunten

Sub par compensation relative to industry standards. High turnover due to layoffs and frustrations. Non-transparent leadership style. Abrupt pivots to new projects. Stressful situations.
