The people! They all are working towards the same goal. The CEO has a heart of gold and would do anything for his employees. You get as much as you give here. Never working in a startup before, I have oftentimes heard that startup life can be hard....I think that is for the weak at heart. This is FUN.

Things can get intense (which means you'll never get bored). If you don't like fast paced and you don't like a challenge this isn't the place for you! No benefits for employees yet but all of those things will come soon.

Working in a start up is hard. But, we're all very passionate about bringing good design into homes and helping people make their space truly their own. - Passion - A very caring CEO who would fight tooth and nail for his employees - Beautiful location - Extremely collaborative environment - Ability to take chances I'm saddened to see past employees write negative reviews based on emotions instead of facts. The truth is we all try to sit near each other not for micromanaging, but because it's a highly collaborative and communicative environment.

It's a start up. It's hard. You have to take a pay cut because you believe in the company. Everyone knows this coming in. Sometimes it is a bit hard to take breaks. But, thats up to the employee to set work/life balance. We get emotional. It's a start up. But, we also get over it. Kind of annoying commute.
