Everyone is expected to work beyond their job title for at least a year before even being considered for promotion, with promotion still being contingent on funding and not merit. Experience is very dependent on your manager, but there are very few competent managers available, and leadership generally lacks people skills and fails to give consideration to the needs of their employees. The new rotational associate program is ineffective and predator, taking advantage of overly qualified employees in entry level, underpaid positions.
