Oh boy-Keep in mind I left on my own because of the following and it was a hard decision. Upper, Upper (partners) Management attitudes and edicts changed in my time there. Started to value THEIR lifestyle and pay, made changes that no one really understood, spent money on things I genuinely think that none of the staff would care about if they did not have, like paid lunches, expensive outings, massive amounts of alcohol in the office, basketball pop a shot and a stage to perform(?). I would like to say some other observations on the people that own/run the company, but as people, they are decent people who overspent and needed to pivot to maintain their business-but also, probably don't buy massively expensive cars and go on vacation to wash your hands of having to be involved in laying off good consultants and our teammates (dark couple of months!) Don't let that massive amount of 5 star reviews SUCK YOU IN-they do a huge market outreach to employees to update Glassdoor every year or few months for appearances... It makes me sad that this is what RPI has turned into, considering how lovely a place and the partners were when I started. So many good people were let go due to "low billing" even if you were making your current year billables, when in reality it was probbbbably politics. Then they hire something like 10 cheaply paid BA's. Bit of a bait in switch when the partners interview you and claim that your low salary offer is offset by billing bonus, and that they are able to keep people on the bench for a bit until they have work for you. But sincerely, if you have no experience, just got your degree in anything, and want to learn consulting, they are a great place to work and learn, and totally recommend starting your consulting career here.
