Pluspunten
Good place for fresh grads. The scope of work is wide, and you might receive support for department projects if management likes you. Work conditions are good—only the maintenance department works outside, while the rest are in air-conditioned and always clean environments.
Minpunten
It’s called an international company, but it’s managed like a family business, especially at the senior level. Too many fat cats doing nothing while taking most of the salary budget and benefits. The career ladder is built to promote those favored by the GM. The GM won’t respect you unless he knows you don’t actually need the company and don't need him. Everyone says “the management decided,” when in reality, it’s just one man making all the decisions—the GM. The company has lost its R&D strength, and they don't have constants in the department to carry on the job. GM men (Production Managers, zero skilled people with big mouths and small sacks) only show up on the production floor when he’s there or when he asks for something. GM’s men are in every department, forming a closed circle that gets all company news and changes first, always acting like they’re above everyone else. Administrative management is weak and has no power over the GM’s men. There is no respect for employees—they’re constantly forced into OT just because they’re “getting paid.” The company has no real plan, and insiders can see it going downhill, but no one has the right to speak up. Every few months, there’s a new structure, a new plan, and a new batch of people in top positions.
