ReOrbit was meant to be an interesting company, operating in a unique economic segment in Finland, with a defined set of values. In reality, it turned out to be a disaster. There is no real product. No actual business activity. Dig even 1 mm deeper, and it’s hollow. It’s honestly surprising that investors haven’t noticed this yet. Space dust, perhaps. Why is it like this? One reason might be how roles - especially at the top - are assigned without regard for actual qualifications. Just check the profiles. In some cases, personal ties appear to be the main factor, but overall, there’s a clear mismatch between titles and relevant experience. The company is run like a dysfunctional corporation: no ownership of tasks, constant behind-the-scenes games, psychological pressure, and endlessly dragged-out processes. And yet, it’s not even functioning like a proper startup. Innovation? Fast-paced environment? Forget it. Fun? Well… The company is run more like a family extension. And when I say “run,” I mean fully controlled. If you try to do an honest job and stick to your principles, you may find yourself sidelined - or even publicly undermined. Once your energy has been used up, you're out. Growth? Career development? Forget it. You become a discarded card, left with nothing but exhaustion and exclusion. If you thrive in toxicity and enjoy office politics, maybe give it a try. Otherwise, it’s best to steer clear.
