You are definitely enabled to drive your own projects the way you want them to be complete, and your creativity is never compartmentalized into a box. As for your co-workers - these are the kind of people you WANT to be your friends: smart, engaging, a little crazy and always willing to do something that may or may not be against the rules.

No work/life balance. Compensation for work is poor, no incentive structure in marketing because "you're working at all the cool events anyway", bonus and raises are a joke. The expectation is your life is your job and your job is your life. Also - they currently have a big problem with turnover and brand v. product lovers.
