Pluspunten
Qualified technicians should have no problems with this job. It's very cut and dry and simple to handle/manage if you're experienced. The nursing staff was incredibly personable and friendly. I got to work with a nationally certified ID Pharmacist, she was one of the most knowledgeable people I've had the pleasure of working alongside.
Minpunten
Worked PRN and was habitually pressured into working full time hours by the director because their actual full time employee was out on FMLA. They wanted to not hire her back and then started taking advantage of my grace helping cover times. Eventually they wrote me up for not coming in for a shift I was never scheduled for. I agreed outside of working hours to stop in and help when I could - mind you I had just spent the weekend out of town for a death in the family. I was told that because the Director had to come in on her day off since I wasn't there it was a red flag and she had to write me up. As if I wasn't coming in on my own day off, or the many hours worked on days off since I was a PRN technician covering for their lack of staffing.
They will take advantage of kindness, underpay you, and expect from you what they will not give in return.
