The Engineering org had great people in it.
Unlimited PTO was good and they were really flexible with how you take it.
Only had to go to the office once a week (though they would periodically threaten to increase it to 3).
Minpunten
Salary was below market rate with well over a year between increases, if any.
In early 2023 there was a 60% layoff (mainly in Engineering) resulting in a considerably increased workload for the survivors with no increase in pay that was never remedied. When this was mentioned to the head of P and C at a roundtable nearly a year later he was under the impression we'd all gotten raises.
People higher in the org (Director and above) seemed to get shuffled between high paying positions regardless of performance while the people doing the actual work got nothing. Promotions for the workers were few and far between.
The company doesn't seem to scale properly and definitely over-hired and overspent pre-2023. There were entire teams of people who weren't sure what they were meant to be doing and at least a few leveraging their lack of responsibility by having another day job.
