The people by far. Ideas are listened to and everyone is a part of the team. The new website incorporated all team members, not just management. There is ample opportunity to learn new things and take on various projects which keeps things fresh.

This is still a small company so resources can be a challenge but everyone is very clear about keeping a start up mentality, so that is to be expected.

Very little direction. The product was a mess. Support was even messier. Serial entrepreneurs who routinely moved on to the next shiny object when failure was looking. Launched Remotely when rentbits was floundering, launched Dashlocal when no one signed on for Remotely. It very depressing to be a part of a team that doesn't believe in the long game. There was no desire to iterate or improve upon what was actually working. As sales, it was "turn and burn". Make those calls and make them long. I saw no "development" in the business development department. a few weeks after I started half of the sales team was fired. They spun it as a good thing since the remaining team members would split the territories. But, people still couldn't perform. There was no product behind what they were selling. Just placement of ads on rental sites. They were a glorified publisher.
