Pluspunten
-Fun and younger culture to be around -Company outings like Braves games, whirly ball, pool time, restaurants and very social (not during the pandemic but before and currently) -the potential to make more money with commission plus bonuses but solid yearly salary higher than other staffing firms I interviewed with. Once you get rolling, usually by 6 months for most of us the commission gets good and you get up and rolling quickly after that. I’ve never worked for a company who invested so much in training, both on the technology side but also sales, recruiting and professional improvement. This is not typical for most companies. I love to work out and Res Tech pays for a big portion of my gym membership which is great. I haven’t made it to the President's club trip yet but I’m working towards that for sure. I love that I can be promoted to sales when I’m ready as there is so much business out there.
Minpunten
There’s so much pressure in staffing to come through for clients and that pressure from sales reps comes down on the recruiters which can be tough at times and there are a few clients that are super demanding. Also there is pressure from other firms to compete and get your candidate in which if you’re not competitive you might have trouble with this. However a lot of us are competitive and thrive on this and it’s exciting when we close deals and get candidates hire and everyone is happy. Some people that have been hired are not motivated by money and seriously don’t want to work, make calls to candidates and move up in the job, I just don’t understand that. If you actually do the job, make calls and work harder than others you will thrive and be very successful. I would say give it AT LEAST 6 months and as long as you are doing those things you will kill it.
