Pluspunten
Everyone seems happy and friendly, lots of opportunities I didn't know existed before. I see a lot of potential for me to advance in my career that I haven't seen in other places. Most employees wear corporate-branded clothing, which seems to tell me most people have a sense of pride in the company, which is very refreshing and reassuring to see.
Minpunten
Internet security is too strict in that it really impacts my job and me doing it efficiently, such as being able to search Google, and then clicking on links to relevant websites. Although I fully understand the need for and importance of having robust and tight cybersecurity, there comes a point when it is too strict and impacts the efficiency of doing job-related tasks. It's frustrating, but it's just something I'll have to learn to work around to get the job done. Although I've only been here for two weeks, it's about the only thing I can think about that I wish would be different. It certainly doesn't impact on my overall initial thoughts of working here and I'm hoping to be working for Rheinmetall for many years. One last thing, the coffee machines at both locations produce very poor quality coffee IMO. I've had an Aldi coffee machine for years that produces outstanding coffee, but the whizz-bang machines on-site can't come close to it. I know it's a big first-world-problem, but that's just something I think can be improved.
