Pluspunten
I don't think there are any pros with this company. One good thing is that employees are getting the salary on time even though the appraisal is not happening. Office infrastructure is also good.
Minpunten
I am working with one of the companies acquired by Rhythmone. My tenure here can be classified into two. 1. Before Rhythmone. 2. After Rhythmone. Ours was a company which had been operating really well with an excellent work culture and compensation. Things went wrong since the acquisition and the company culture has spoiled up. The parent company is not giving much importance to the core business but they focus on non-productive things such as documentation, work logging etc. The problems are, 1. CEO (Mark Bonney) always tries to make some inspirational speeches but nothing in action. His primary focus is on cost-cutting. 2. Appraisals are on hold for the last 5-6 months. Seems like this is a part of the cost-cutting. Many of the employees have already left the organization. Most of the others are trying for a new job. 3. Existing employees are clueless about what is going on. The reason behind on-hold appraisals is not communicated to the ground level staffs. 4. CEO is shooting emails to the employees about cutting the cost of the lunch and so on. The email itself is embarrassing. 5. On hold appraisals and cost-cutting indicates that the company is in trouble.
