You know when you see those adverts for a company, that are all unicorns and rainbows, then you get there and it is just rainclouds and frowny faces. Well, no company is perfect. Ricston doesn’t have unicorns, we have lots of Mules, of the squishy stress toy variety, and they are definitely not stubborn! Ricston has 3 sites; Malta, Spain and the UK and everyone chats regularly, as well as taking part in the weekly Friday afternoon quiz. The whole team are very supportive, and willing to listen and help wherever they can. Communication is something that is worked hard on. There are regular quarterly meetings for everyone, where it is openly shared how we are doing as a company, and to celebrate our successes. There are also knowledge sharing meetings with the developers to share things they have learnt and best practices to help each other. I have a great work/life balance, with flexible hours and the ability to work from home if needed. We also added extra benefits such as health insurance and wellness benefits.

Minpunten

As I said before nowhere is perfect and I wish I could think of some cons right now to make it seem more real, but I am stuck!
