Or they aren’t even aware of what is going on themselves. Most leaders at the company are trying to protect their own status and position. They don’t have any interest, time or energy to nurture people below them. Work becomes a ladder-climbing game instead of building a good user experience or product. People exploit office politics to climb. Some people advance to positions they are unqualified for; solely based on political relationships.
