These are some of the smartest people I've met working on difficult challenges. The impact is real. Personally I love that Rippling lets me focus on my strengths and I'm free to do what it takes to ship features. I'm not burdened with process or blocked by needing approvals. Somehow despite all that, we still operate with rigor and set a high bar for engineering and what we ship. I can also see leadership being invested in sustainable growth/velocity, which can't happen if people are burning out left and right. Our median tenure only continues to go up.

Within engineering, the style is certainly more practical than optimal. Shipping fast, iteratively and learning along the way is better than thoughtful deliberation on paper.
