You are the Core Product: At Riskified, Data Science isn't a secondary support function; it is the business. Since their main product is AI-driven fraud prevention and chargeback guarantees, your models have a direct, visible impact on the company’s bottom line.

Minpunten

Fraud detection and risk management is a specific niche. If you ever want to branch out into entirely different AI applications like generative AI this is not the best place to do so

Minpunten

Could offer more promotion opportunities and salary increases to employees Very fast-paced (this could seem like a con to some, but I loved the dynamic environment since you can really have a huge impact and truly own your work)
