If you want to progress your career quickly and work on some incredible projects, then definitely get involved -Rocket Lab is not big on working from home, but I am less productive from home so I would rather be in the office any way (and I get to hang out with my team and get barista coffee and free snacks, so lots of benefits to coming in :D )
