Hard-working and dedicated team members are often undervalued or let go, while less productive individuals are retained. In several cases, employees with higher salaries are removed as a cost-cutting measure instead of being retained or developed, which negatively affects motivation and work quality. The leave policy is poorly defined and inconsistently implemented, making it difficult for employees to plan time off. The work environment is highly political, with frequent leg-pulling and favoritism influencing decisions rather than merit or performance. This significantly impacts teamwork, trust, and overall productivity. There is also excessive management interference across departments, particularly from individuals whose core responsibilities lie elsewhere. This lack of role clarity spreads negativity, disrupts workflows, and lowers morale. Overall, the company suffers from poor leadership direction, low accountability, limited collaboration, and a work culture that often feels demotivating rather than supportive.

The company’s condition is getting worse day by day, and management itself appears to be struggling. Very few new projects are coming in because the company mainly relies on project hunting through platforms such as Upwork and Fiverr. Many employees spend most of the day sitting idle because of the lack of projects. The company has again laid off junior interns and office boys on one day’s notice, affecting many innocent people. The lunch that used to be provided has also been discontinued because the two female chefs were fired as well. The situation has deteriorated to the point where paying the building rent appears to be difficult. Employees can no longer control the AC on their floor. According to the instructions, all AC remotes remain with the office boy: he turns them on in the morning, turns them off during the break, and all ACs are switched off at 6 p.m. I would never recommend Ropstam to anyone. If you have goals for your life and career, I would advise against joining this company.

It would be great to have cold refreshments available during the summer for employees who do not drink tea . Additionally, offering a few free hours each month that employees can use as needed would further enhance the employee experience.
