Pluspunten

The only one I can think of is the 9/80 schedule allowing you to have every other Friday off. You work 80 hours in 9 days.

Minpunten

There are many cons. As a sales rep with over 25 years experience, I have never been micro-managed but you should expect it with Roth Staffing. They have their thumb over your activities each minute of each day. They should Have trust in their employees and I’m sure they would see a difference in performance, but unfortunately, they only care about the money, not the employee. Secondarily, they supposedly live by their Mission, Vision, Value statements but I experienced otherwise when I had to take time off because my 85 year old mother had to have emergency surgery. After Being denied for FMLA, I informed my manager that I needed to take additional time off, and I understood it would be unpaid. A week later, I received an email stating as of that day, my employment had voluntary been terminated due to me “supposedly” abandoning my position. I had remained in contact with my manager, and was never given options as to how much time I could take off before they terminated my position. I was greatly disappointed as to how they handled the situation, and it became crystal clear to me that they couldn’t give two hoots about their employees. I was dispensable, despite the fact that I was exceeding my goals. After being let go by an email, I received a text from my market manager that I could not clean my desk out or come to the office because they would do it for me. I had not done anything wrong, but I felt as if they were treating me like I had done something ethically wrong. I’m guilty of loving my mom, and being there for her after her surgery and stroke. Thirdly, my second month there, I witnessed a senior executive employee yelling and belittling an employee (who had been with the company over 25 years) in front of the entire branch. There was no professionalism. Fourthly, the day I received the call from my mom’s surgeon telling me that my 85 year old mother was going into emergency surgery, I was extremely worried and upset, so I removed myself from the office to gain my composure. I was shocked after being confronted by the same senior executive (mentioned above that belittled a tenured employee) telling me in a very harsh tone that I was creating drama. No compassion! I could continue to list many more cons, such as favoritism amongst senior managers and certain branch employees, but I will leave this as a warning that if you are looking for a company that cares about you as an employee, this is not the place for you.

We were very sad to hear about your mother and we wanted to be there for you as you faced this and other misfortunes over the course of your employment. The last thing we want is for a coworker to ever feel we don't have the utmost compassion for the things happening in their personal life. We care about each of our coworkers ... very much. You are correct in that we guide coworkers through a proven amount and type of activity that will help them reach personal and professional success, especially as they ramp up. We never want it to feel like micro management. We're here to help. And if you check with our tenured successful coworkers you'll hear that we rarely discuss activity with them - we want every coworker to reach that place in their career where the focus is solely on outcomes and not activity. There are many specifics you address here that would cross the lines of privacy if we also address them, but we can only offer up that there are always many perspectives and various sides to every story. We don't like to hear that any coworker did not have the experience we intend and want to create. Although this ended up not being the right fit, we have you in our thoughts and genuinely hope you have found the great workplace you seek and deserve . We take every review (good and especially bad) to heart and learn from it. We commit to always striving to be better.

Pluspunten

There is a great culture and the team is always willing to work with one another. People are kind, hard working, easy to get along with.

Minpunten

Feeling stagnant even after voicing the desire to the next step. There’s no bonuses for experience coordinators, and no yearly increase.
