Frankly, I don't think this would be enforceable, but the fact that they try to say that once you have left them you basically can't work in the oil sands for a year tells you a lot about the company.

Everyone that works there is a family member or friend or relative of the family... so nepotism at its finest. The people that work in the Calgary office seem miserable.
