Pluspunten
Nice colleagues. The compensation and essential benefits like health, dental and unlimited paid time off are nice as well. Entirely remote. Work life balance is great. You can secure your position against layoffs if you keep grinding and tooting your own horn very loudly. Expect significant professional growth due to substantial challenges. There's never a dull moment.
Minpunten
Four or five layoffs in under two years to extend the company's runway—I've honestly lost count. Zero revenue generation. Morale is low due to frequent layoffs, and you never know when the next one will strike. We lost some really good people in the last round. If you manage to dodge one, you're constantly trying to impress upper management to avoid being next, even though the leadership remains the same with no innovation or motivation for the team. We're always struggling to satisfy clients with a less than mediocre product. There are constant emergencies to handle every week. There's a clear lack of vision and rampant micromanagement from the top. Burnout is real but you can't admit.
