1) good facilities for work with comfortable working environment 2) initial pay to join Schlumberger was high in the oil & gas job market for accountants in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 3) multinational and multicultural colleagues

Minpunten

1) salary and bonus is dependent on shared service system. If u're in the shared service, don't expect too much increment per annum and multiple months of bonus payout 2) If there's cost cutting measure due to slowdown of economy in crude oil price, u'll be possibly retrenched 3) can be a high result expectation and stressful work environment (depending on the team you're working with and the projects you're attached with).

Good people at the local level. The work is engaging and challenging.

Minpunten

Too many to count. Career advancements are extremely limited. Pay raises are minimal and don't get close to keeping up with inflation even for top performers. At the corporate level they are using acquisitions to hide massive layoffs. They return billions in profit to investors consistently, but there is still a constant threat of layoffs and multiyear freezes on pay raises even with inflation and solid corporate profit.
