Pluspunten
SLD Solutions is good at creating a family-like environment where individuals can work collegially, as a family. In that regard, SLD is solid.
Minpunten
But SLD Solutions is rarely solid. The biggest complaint I have against SLD is that, during your interview, you are never told (at least I never heard it, and I did sit in on eight interviews) how much you'll really need to spend to be with the company. They will charge for training and for training material, and these costs add up quickly. New recruits are offered an opportunity to attend a national sales meeting, but you, the employee/recruit, must pay for the trip. It's easy to get "nickel and dimed" at SLD. Plus, you have to purchase a product in order to get into personal production, and you are not able to sell it to yourself. You'll also need to pay a monthly "platform" fee if you go into production. None of this was disclosed in any interviews I witnessed. If you attend an interview, please ask this question: "tell me everything I'll need to pay for and how much will it equal?" Other complaints: clubby, cultish atmosphere; a seemingly benign husband and wife ownership that pervades all aspects of the company. Oh, and ask about their "lead" programs: how they are obtained, their conversion rates, etc.
