Stressful/toxic work environment not only because of the nature of the job, but also the ridiculously high expectations. Empowerment is never exercised. Mostly threats & insults. No transparency on contract/salary/bonuses/increment. You are expected to work wherever, whenever, even if you're on MC or holidays. You are expected to take ownership of your projects but at the same time, you’re never allowed to make any decision under a micromanaging management style. You are expected to be creative and to come up with new/fresh ideas but they are often rejected. Everyday you step into the office, you gotta be watching the overall mood of the management. Management doesn’t listen. Or very often selective listening is practise. One tip: record all the conversations so that you have some proof later, you’ll need it. You’ll be hearing a lot of empty promises saying that the company has got plans for you or you will be given more bonus or increment. Everything is taken personally. Even if you wish you resign, it’s a personal attack. Employees are never fired, they are driven away by the hostile treatment from management. Name calling & personal attack on appearance are often practised by the management. Turnover rate is rather high. New staff normally last from 3-5 months.
