Pluspunten

1. Centrally located in Willis tower, Chicago. 2. Rank and file consultants are hard-working, eager to learn and teach, and helpful. 3. Health insurance package is attractive, given the smallish size of the company.

Minpunten

One of the most significant issues I encountered at SPR was the opaque nature of its leadership. Critical decisions were often made behind closed doors, without any input from or communication with the broader team. This lack of transparency led to a great deal of uncertainty and frustration among employees, as we were frequently left in the dark about important changes and strategic directions. Lack of diversity: The leadership team at SPR is homogeneous. For the past 50 years, it has been an exclusive in-group of aging white men. This homogeneity has stifled innovation and failed to reflect the diverse perspectives and experiences that are crucial in today's global business environment. It's disappointing to see a company so resistant to embracing the diverse talent available in the workforce. Culture of fear and disinformation: Perhaps the most troubling aspect of working at SPR was the pervasive culture of fear and disinformation. Leadership ruled with an iron fist, often resorting to fear tactics to maintain control. This environment stifled creativity and honest communication, as employees were afraid to speak up or challenge the status quo. Furthermore, disinformation was rampant, with leadership frequently providing misleading or incomplete information to staff, leading to confusion and mistrust. In conclusion, my experience at SPR was disappointing. The lack of transparency, diversity, and the toxic culture of fear and disinformation significantly detracted from the work environment. I would caution potential employees to consider these issues seriously before considering employment there.

Communication and transparency truly matter to us because they directly shape the employee experience. We appreciate feedback like this because it encourages us to reflect and continue strengthening how we connect and share information across the organization. We maintain a steady communication cadence, including company-wide webinars every six weeks, monthly technologist meetings, and weekly manager meetings. These touchpoints are designed to keep our teams informed, provide context around decisions, and create space for open dialogue. We are thoughtful about the timing and audience for certain communications, particularly when sensitive matters are involved, and we remain committed to building trust through clear, consistent, and ongoing communication.
