That said, there are real challenges - especially in marketing and people support. The marketing function was under-resourced and lacked a clear long-term strategy. Most of the team was outsourced, which made it hard to build consistency and internal alignment. There was also a strong focus on fundraising and short-term sales, but little investment in brand building or marketing infrastructure. On the people side, wellness programs and employee benefits were minimal, and people management practices needed more maturity to retain and grow talent effectively.
