Too many to list but here are just a few: -Sales incentives/promos are inequitable across regions -Unless you’re in an adoption state, don’t expect collaboration or support from any department - Account managers are responsible for babysitting colleagues. IT didn’t respond to multiple help requests from AM or the customer ? It’s the AM’s fault. Order fulfillment sent the wrong items 3x? It’s the AM’a fault. A trainer you’ve booked weeks in advance is reassigned by mgmt. at the last minute? You guessed it - it’s the AM’s fault. - If you’re not motivated by companywide emails from the top saying things like “if you’re not selling, you must not like commission” then this isn’t the place for you - Weekly 1-1 meetings with management are torture. Mine lasted 3-5 hours regardless of whether or not I was hitting my numbers - The lack of professionalism, onboarding, working technology, and communication is staggering - HR is essentially worthless; do not expect confidentiality, support, help or guidance if you go to HR with anything. HR will undoubtedly respond to this statement with “we have an open door policy." What they don't share are the repercussions of walking through that door. - When hired, do not expect to be welcomed, trained, provided with the necessary working tools to do your job, company credit card, org chart, or any other information that might contribute to your success - Asking even benign questions will result in a target on your back - The first 10-15 min of nearly every 1-1 meeting with management is spent waiting while they are on the phone and mtgs. typically last 30-60 min. beyond their allotted time. Management has zero respect for anyone's time but their own - Managers are promoted based on sales - not their experience or capacity to lead, motivate, and support a collaborative team. This results in micromanagement; not leadership There are countless additional cons to working at this nightmare of a company. In a nutshell, STEMscopes fosters an exceedingly toxic, inequitable, unprofessional, and demoralizing environment. Even more unfortunate is that there’s no desire to change given the repetitive comments throughout these reviews; I assume that’s why HR doesn’t request exit interviews. Sad.
