It was an alienating experience

- people were nice on my first day - manager was nice and welcoming as well - staff discount i guess! - convenient working location (ps & ion)

- low pay! (8.5 weekdays & 10 weekends if i rmbr clearly? rlly low compared to other singaporean local retail stores in the vicinity) - there was a complaint about some of the staff and the boss publicly shamed them in the gc instead of personally talking/messaging them and scolded them without finding out clearly what happened first - boss has 15k followers and indirected and spoke bout his staff on his stories, in a very sarcastic demeanour as well which threw me off as it was not professional at all. i understand it is his personal account as well and not the brand’s account but i feel like he should still be professional and give a sort of PR answer to customers instead of just blatantly agreeing with the customer’s complaint, there is a difference between being empathetic to customer’s bad experience and just simply siding with them. no one wants to work in an environment where they feel like it’s the management vs the staff.
