Pluspunten
None actually come to mind at present. The stores are geared to operate with the least number of employees as possible, and with Albertsons calling the shots these days, the plan is to work the old-time higher paid employees into quitting or retiring, so they can be replaced with lower paid virtually untrained new people. They do offer discounts on products, and some stores in union areas have halfway decent benefits, but the future is much brighter somewhere else.
Minpunten
Erratic and unpredictable scheduling, understaffing is the model going forward, the parent company is not financially healthy, up to their eyeballs in debt, not well situated to fend off growing competition, and is just Albertsons in a cheap disguise. They make unreasonable demands on employees, manage by fear, coercion and intimidation, and from a corporate perspective, don't care a bit about their employees. Having worked there for many years, it is very sad to see what this company has become, and just how far they've fallen.
