Pluspunten

My extended team are a really talented, diligent and success driven bunch. In our smaller bubble we have a strong value system. They are a pleasure to work with. If it wasn't for the culture created by this team, I would have moved on. Sage has put a lot of effort into our social media presence and also on a One Sage communication, which keeps getting stronger. I love the idea of a focus on making easier to use products via the XD pillar.

Minpunten

Change is a constant at Sage . Unfortunately, the changes that have been made have not had a positive result to the happiness of its employees, nor our bottom line. Bad decisions have resulted in a lot of loss of great people. And with those people huge historical and important knowledge have left the organization. It’s a common belief that these changes are not completely thought through to ensure continuity of the business or processes. And we are losing great, skilled, talented employees at a rate of knots. This doesn't play well with supporting each other across products, departments and countries to make a better overall Sage offering to the market.

was hired as remote and get to have that honored, but have been openly told no career progression because of remote status. decent pay

Minpunten

Leadership instability: Seven manager changes during my relatively short tenure. Unrealistic targets: A sales quota set at 1,100% growth (not a typo). Slow product development: Getting anything actioned on the product side takes far too long. Product management turnover: Three product manager changes, resulting in no meaningful deliverables in over three years. Misaligned hiring priorities: Greater emphasis on DEI optics than on hiring people positioned to drive growth. Internal vs. customer focus: More energy spent on internal events than on product enhancements. Lack of accountability (the biggest issue): No one takes ownership. Responsibility gets passed around constantly — for example, client cancellations going unprocessed because they impact someone's numbers. Managers have openly encouraged pushing the work onto someone else rather than handling it.
