Leadership positions are held by people with little-to-no leadership experience.
Ruthless prioritization every week, for years, has led many aspects of the company to be broken. There is not the appetite to fix problems with solutions that actually stick.
The "people" of the company have not been prioritized -- on all levels -- corporate, customer support or operations (i.e. after nearly 5 years - no clear career paths, no raises, no bonuses, no ability of managers to incentivize teams or individuals with strong performance).
The company takes a very knee-jerk or reactive approach to issues that arise from everyday run of business issues.
While the culture promotes itself as 100% transparent and familial, all of the leadership positions are filled with friends of the founders. Often times it feels like an adult version of high school. The company does a poor job at promoting the family-like culture of it's remote workforce.
